I loved the photo of Big ben that had the flash of yellow light behind it. I also think the one where you are making peace signs right in front of tower bridge is cool because your hands are just right by the towers xD

Ah Jamie, you were already awesome.

I don't think there is a place you are supposed to annoy the guards, but sometimes if you find one outside the gates, then people try to get them to smile. Or some schools can go into the gates, or places that are doing special trips and they can go up to the guards.

We went on a school trip in year 7 to the Tower of London, and a Beefeater yelled at a bunch of people in our class for trying to get a reaction out of the guard - I imagine it's because of stuff like that that they try and discourage people from doing it. Your photos are all lovely :)

Some of the No Photos thing may be a holdover from the days of film, where you HAD to use flash inside buildings. And flash is deadly to old fabrics and manuscripts and the like. Darn them and their rules!

I know, London is so beautiful. Wish I could live somewhere as pretty, but I think very few people actually get to live in those kinds of areas.

I am just off to google the cathedral to see if I can see the inside. You really are a pro already. Look at those fancy angled shots xD

Heya!

That big red building is actually St Pancras station. Yeah, only the English would build two huge stations *right next to one another*. It used to be my local tube station for two years and I'd catch a bus there after work, stopping off at one of the indoor coffee shops to get a coffee and watch the people and the trains from Paris.

The King's Cross shiny curvy building is new, though the interior of the actual station part of it is really old - but you only get to see that if you catch a train! Europeans loved making huge stations that are like cathedrals in their own way on the inside!

And don't worry about the Harry Potter sign - there's usually someone posing by it when I go through, even entire school parties, which makes going through that part of the station tricky! XD

I love your story about being a mangaka's assistant. Although it's been months since you've updated, I hope you'll continue writing about your experience. There are many things that I am so curious about!

-What happened to your (ex)crush from the Prince of Tennis musical. How did you find out about his personality? Does that mean you guys went out? :)

-Also, what did Konomi-sensei tell you when you quit? Did he give some kind of heart-warming advice? :3

-And although this may be personal, why did you quit? Did you eventually lose interest in becoming a mangaka?

I sincerely hope to know more about this story one day. But for now, I hope you enjoy your current adventure! :D

It really is outshone by the other bridges isn't it?

I never went on the bridge tour, but now I really want to. I went to the London Dungeon though. It isn't very scary, but it is very fun.
There was one part where you had to walk through dark cells though and I was last, so I knew someone was going to jump out at a particular corner and I moved to the opposite side so I would miss them.
Somehow I got it wrong though and ended up walking into the person dressed up as a ghost and screamed my head off xD
