Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour London p4
The is the last part of my photo tour of the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour. I should say, “The Studio Tour Of Awesome.” My tour inside of Hall A was over with the Ministry of Magic, but there was still much fun to come! We were lucky that the weather was sunny, because between Hall A and B was an outdoor showcase, and it was unmissable!!! Even if due to the fact that you could freely walk around everywhere, it was much harder to get pictures without muggles in them. Please bear with me! 😀 It was a very, very cold afternoon in October. I would LOVE to…

Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour London p3
The is the continuation of my photo tour of the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour. I should say, “The Studio Tour Of Awesome.” I was already in complete bliss from the beginning of the tour, and I wasn’t even half done! This part contains my favorite set from the display… you know that I love detail, so can you guess what it was? It’s not necessarily the one on the right here! 😀 More photos inside! —-> (593 geeks have read this)

Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour London p2
I not only want, I really need to go back to London right now, just to go back to this! The is the continuation of part 1 of my photo tour of the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour. I should say, “The Studio Tour Of Awesome.” I was in awe. I want to go back. I just… I just really wish that I could go all of the time, AND that there were more things like this out there! Not the small traveling series, but ones that make the effort, put in the money to really immerse you in the world and make you feel like you were there. Does…

TheWarner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour London (p1)
Here it is: The time when I lay it all bare! The reasons that I went to London on were: 1. Destination: Star Trek London (A convention that sounded cool, but was a let down). 2. The Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio tour (Blew my mind!). 3. Sightseeing/Vacation/Recharge&Recovery from my relationship went bad. Today, I’m talking about #2, of course! In fact, I took SO MANY pictures at the Harry Potter studio tour that I can’t cover it all in one post. Also, if we are talking about let downs, this was NOT one of them. In fact, the tour blew my mind away. This is what ALL big franchises…

Covent Gardens and Abbey Road!
After the changing of the guard, Miho and I headed on over to Covent Garden so that we could shop (all we bought was cupcakes, though!), and then to Abbey Road! Because how can you not? It is really hard to get good pictures of Abbey road with cars and people clogging it all up! (^o^);; I got some good pictures though, and it was good and fun times! Very very cold times, though! Click through to see the stupid pictures of me failing to walk like a Beatle! XD;; (266 geeks have read this)

Changing of the guard
Miho and I finally did manage to see the Changing of the Guard the next morning! The one thing that stuck out for me, though, was the crowd. There were SO MANY PEOPLE. Not just people, but people shoving and pushing and putting kids on top of their heads right in front of me, lol. It sort of cancels out my tallness! Also, it was really, really boring. I sort of finangled my way on up to a sort-of-okay spot near to the fence, so that I could take pictures through the bars over people’s heads, sort of.. except someone let their little son (around 7?) climb up on the…

La la la London!
Ohhhhhhh, Big Ben! Big Ben makes me think of Peter Pan. When I saw it for the first time, on Miho and my third day sightseeing, I was like, “OOOH, I FOUND LONDON, HERE IT IS!” I wonder how everyone else feels. ^^; According to our guidebooks, Big Ben is generally not open to the public, as is Parliament. There are tours of Parliament, but not on the days that we were there, and it seems that there are tours of the inside of Big Ben, but only at certain times of the year, or something like that. It might be kind of neat and steampunk-y, though, so I would…

The London that I can’t share with you! ToT
I may not be a professional photographer (yet!), but I love to take photos. I’ve always loved to take photos, and sometimes when I get going, I sit at the computer and can edit them foreeeeeeeever. Forever and ever! When I was a kid, I used up rolls and rolls of film on a little yellow point-and-click camera, capturing everything. (The photos are mostly back home in the States now, so I’ll post some of them one day) Part of this whole photography obsession is just for my own personal amusement, and part of it is because I love sharing them with everyone on my blog. Even before I came…

Platform 9¾
I like Harry Potter a lot. I also went to London. So, it’s no surprise that I turned up at King’s Cross station looking for Platform 9¾! Right? I hope that it’s not, anyway! My guidebook, which was totally awesome, did not mention that there is a real (display) Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross train station, but maybe that’s because it is too new. The Eyewitness DK guidebook series is seriously awesome otherwise though, and I cannot recommend it more! Anyways, Miho and I started out the next day by trekking off to King’s Cross Station, where the action is! I figured that I would just sort of know where…

Traipsing the Thames!
Somewhere (well, everywhere, really) I had read/heard that England was dreary and cold most of the year. I guess that it’s a little like Japan’s reputation for being really modern and full of new technology. Every once in a while, you walk into a bathroom stall and find a squat toilet. So in other words, it’s not always true. In Miho and my case, our first day sightseeing together started with lovely blue skies, the opposite of what we expected! The temperature, too, was opposite of what we expected. It was biting cold and I was frozen to the bone, having arrived from a Tokyo where I was still wearing…
