Week two of my “doesn’t fit in anywhere else!” picture dump of the week!
I can’t believe it’s only been a week since I started this blog. It feels like I’ve been blogging forever… (oh wait, I have! Over 9 years now!)
There is a chain store called Beard Papa that I love. ♥ They sell cream puffs, which as far as I am concerned are food of the gods.
I.. uh.. also thought that they were japanese, for a long time. I’d never heard of nor seen them before I moved to Japan!

The clerk is touting the new lemon cream puff! Yuuuuuum! Yep, it tastes as good as it sounds. Just like heaven.

You know you want one!

I’m learning how to use my close-up lens :3

Haven’t quite gotten the hang of it!

Yum!

This is the stuff they serve in the good part of the afterlife, right? Plus, in heaven it doesn’t make you fat!

Found this “Green Espresso” in the conbini (convenience store)..

How could I not give it a shot? Alas, I drank it all before I could take a good picture. I’ll get another tomorrow!! :3 :3

Some pictures of my apartment for your amusement.. :9
This is a stuffed jellyfish that I bought at the Yokohama Sea Paradise aquarium many many many years ago. It now lives on my lamp cord, helping to brighten up my room.
Well, now you know

I also love Kappa. More on that later!

Some people might recognize this.
I need to get it framed, but I’m waiting until I get a nice apartment so that I can match it to the decor!

I don’t like tatami mats, but they’re pretty.

A view out my window. These bamboo screens are to keep out the sun’s harsh heat. Not that I really need them anymore..

It also helps keep out peeping toms (like me)!

This is the much-beloved area rug that I bought for 900 yen last fall. I bleach it about once a week to keep it white. ^^;

Even my socks are kappa!

More of my room..

Look, it’s the world’s most busy Starbucks! The Starbucks at Shibuya station!

It’s right across the street from the station, can’t miss it!

Pretty cups and food

This is the cup that I bought– I love it!!

I hate to call it a night here… but tomorrow I have a date! :3
I also have another 2 or three posts to write tomorrow!! =D

Hi Jamie! I’ve been checking out your blog for quite a few years now and I REALLY love all your photos! What kind of camera do you have? The quality looks great in your pics.
Also, how do you go about getting all the pictures you take? I mean, I’ve always wanted to take pictures of random people like you’ve been doing, but I usually chicken out when I see people looking at me like “What are you doing taking my picture?” Or even if they don’t see me! Do I just need to be gutsier and go for it anyway?!
cute post! your photos are really fun ^_^
the starbucks in Shibuya is pretty cool, but i really hate going there as there is never any place to sit! >_< no fun…
I know what you mean. There is always the longest line! They should expand the cafe to take up all of the floors. It’s not like anyone uses the HMV anyways– all we ever want is coffee!
yummmm… cream puffs… I’m drooling on my keyboard.
I never complain about the photos you take Jamie! I like your randomness and the angle in which you choose to take the photo, it’s so…. random. But great! I find pictures of what you eat/drink/purchase interesting, it makes me feel like I’m there with you and I could just reach out and grab it! And the pictures that you take of shibuya and the streets of tokyo are so perfect in my point of view^_^.
I was wanted to ask if it was alright if you could take a video of you apartment? to give us a better view of your living environment and the place you spend most of your time – before you look for a new one
— –THANKs for the great post, have fun!!
Aww, thank you! =^-^= I’m glad that you like them… I’ll continue taking the same kinds of pictures then! =D
My apartment??? Well, I will have to clear it with my boyfriend since some of the furniture belongs to him (even though he doesn’t live here, lol!),a nd he’s weird about privacy. But if he’s okay with it, I’ll take a video!
I really love “this week in Tokyo” !! I really enjoy looking at random pictures you take when you are out and about, it’s really interesting. I especially enjoy seeing pics of Shibuya +w+ Do you ever feel shy to take pictures in public?
Aww, thank you!! =^-^=
I do, sometimes… actually, any time that it involves me having to ask for a picture, I’ll almost always run away without asking, lol. But if it’s just me taking a picture, no asking involved, then I have no shyness at all. XD
