In before memes had pictures :)

I woke up feeling sort of sick, but I somehow powered through today without throwing up! This is a good thing, right?

Since I’m at home a lot and therefore “not busy” (mom’s opinion of the fact that I’m not working at Starbucks but instead writing and drawing and doing blog things), I was chosen to run 600 million errands by the parental unit today. I guess I don’t mind it once in a while. Hey, I am staying for free right now (though I’m paying for my own food and things). Alright, okay. Can definitely return things and stand in lines and get water bottles filled at the fancy water store and do such things. I do wish that this request had come at a time when I wasn’t feeling so sick, though.

Still, after I got over the nausea, I wanted to sleep, but I’m trying this new thing. Accountability (to myself). I have to meet my goals, and right now, my goal is to write in my blog every day, regardless of what’s going on. I will be finishing my first book (the Tenipuri story) and my manga quite quickly at this rate! So anyways, in lieu of sleep, I present blog. 🙂

I was thinking today about how these days meme usually means a picture with text sprawled across it. But back in my early days, memes were more like surveys (and I STILL call them maymays because it looks right to me. I don’t think I’ll ever change. Calling it meem is as odd as being able to pronounce sriracha without stumbling over the syllables (that don’t even need to be pronounced).

I just want to say right now that every time my mail chimes, I get sad because Taylor Swift made an announcement on her Facebook page that there will be a big announcement soon, and it’s not her saying that a new album is coming out tomorrow. I may be slightly too much in love? What is a lesbian to do?

I just thought that I wasn’t signed up since the big news is never in my inbox..

SO, ANYWAYS!!!! I have something awesome coming up for the Tenipuri story. At least, I hope! But that will be tomorrow or the next day. Today, since I am sick, I am doing  an old-school meme, of the survey-type. :3 Curious? I know you are, so click the linky link!

1. Are you a very open or private person?

No, just kidding. My life is pretty much an open book. There are some private things that I won’t share, but nobody wants to know those sorts of details.. right? Right? (I keep getting asked who T is, but I’ll never tell! A few people have guessed right, though. 😉 )

2. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

It’s a tie between these five. Making me choose would be cruel.

3. When did you stop believing in Santa?

I still believe. What kind of strange question is this?

4. What do you get complimented on the most?

My hair, or how expressive my writing is. Both are awesome compliments!

5. How are you feeling right now?

Not as queasy as earlier. Actually, I feel better. Blogging really is the best medicine!

6. If money was no object, where would you move to?

Mars. Duh. I mean, just for starters!! As for my real-life plan, now that I’ve lived in Tokyo, the next goal is to live in Honolulu and see how I like it!

7. Who was the last person to make you cry?

I saw that awesome coke commercial with the multiple languages and it made me cry over how sweetly awesome it was.

8. Did you make any resolutions for this year? What were they?

I didn’t make any resolutions other than to follow my heart this year. I’m open to the possibilities!

9. Is there a song which can bring you to tears instantly?

Sometimes when I see this video, I laugh so hard that I cry. Does that count?

10. Who was the last person you talked about sex with?

I can’t remember. To me, most of these details are the kinds of things that I do like to keep private. Although I suppose, sometimes I talk to my friends or even the internet about it?

11. How did you bring in the New Year?

I went to my sister’s house and tried not to fall asleep, lol. 2013 was EXHAUSTING.

12. Have you ever online dated?

Yes! Twice, I think. The first time, I wasn’t into her enough but we parted nicely, and the second time…. I got hit with the crazy! Too bad, because she had some good points, too. I guess that I’m just waiting for Taylor!

13. Post a screen shot of your Twitter “Interactions” page.

I’m guessing that this is what they mean by “interactions page?” Why is this interesting?

14. Click on the messages tab on Facebook, post a screen shot (erase surnames for safety).

Boring, isn’t it? Ahaha.

15. Post a screenshot of your tumblr activity page.

16. Do you believe in soul mates?

YES!!! Yes yes yes, very much so! I am still looking for my forever-soulmate. Unless it’s Taylor Swift.. then it’s just that I’ve already found her but we haven’t met. 🙂 Who knows? A girl can dream. 😉

17. Do you play video games?

This is the last game I played. I LOVED IT!!!! Other favorites of mine include the Myst series, The Longest Journey series, The Secret of Monkey Island series, Kingdom Hearts, and of course the old Sonic the Hedgehog (pre 3D) games!

18. What age do people usually mistake you for?

I’m usually mistaken for mid-to-early twenties these days. though in 2012 one guy in London thought that I wasn’t even old enough to buy fake purple eyelashes! (You have to be 18, and since I was 32 at the time….)

19. What or whom do you miss right now?

I really, really, really miss Tokyo and all of my friends there! I also seriously miss the anime stuff I had access to. I forgot that America was so crappy for access to anime goods, as in I can’t just walk into the store anywhere. ;_; HOW DO YOU SURVIVE WITHOUT ANIMATE?????????

20. What perfume do you wear?

I don’t! Sometimes I wear nummy body spray,  like vanilla or cotton candy, but I never wear perfume. It always smells forced to me.
