Okinawa a-go-go 2
Yesterday, I left off at the end of our first day in Osaka! We were bombarded by the heat, I marveled at the sturdiness of Japanese women determined to follow a fad that I don’t really understand, and we saw a world heritage site. Cool! 🙂
The second day started out well, checking out the beach~~
It wasn’t quite as Hawaii-ish as I had hoped, but I loved the ocean! The ocean is my second home!! I could do anything there… with the salt in the air and the warm ocean breeeze washing over you, sipping a tropical drink, it’s like living in a dream..
I loooooooove the ocean in the summertime! 😀 I had taken a waterproof camera along with me, so I had a great time testing it out in the waves, and then on the banana boat that I went on with Eda and Erin. 🙂
“How did you like it?”
“Ehhhh….”
“I’d do it again!”
After the banana boat, we headed off to a glass-bottom boat tour! Which was kind of disappointing. I suppose that my imagination is a lot more colorful than real life! I had no idea that Nemo and Dory were so small! Like, almost microscopic!
Afterwards, we started driving again. In our lovely green car. 🙂
And headed to these cool old ruins that we saw along the way! How cool are they? I do love ruins quite a lotty lot. 🙂 🙂 🙂
We had Goya champloo and OKinawa-style ramen for dinner, and then…
Repeated the experience at another castle! Ruins again, though, which made it extra-awesome to me. 🙂
After this, though, is where it got weird, and a little surreal… 🙂 Stay tuned with me tomorrow as I write about the Pineapple park!!
